SHIRUI LILY
(LILIUM MACKLINIAE) ;
Lilium mackliniae, the Shirui lily or Siroi lily, is a rare Indian species of plant found
only in the upper reaches of the Siroi hill ranges in the Ukhrul district of Manipur, India,
at an elevation of 1,730–2,590 metres (5,680–8,500 ft) above sea level.
It is located near the boundary of
Myanmar to the east, Shiroi village
in the west, and Choithar village in
the south and Sihai village in the north.
Shirui Lily flower is a unique and
rare species of terrestrial lily grown
naturally, and only found at Shirui Kashong
peak in Ukhrul district of Manipur state.
This seasonal flower is famous because
it cannot be transplanted elsewhere in
the world despite numerous attempts
made by researchers and scientists.

The Keibul Lamjao National Park is a national park in the Bishnupur district of the state of Manipur in India. It is 40 km2 (15.4 sq mi) in area, the only floating park in the world, located in North East India, and an integral part of Loktak Lake.
The park has several distinguishing features. Apart from the vegetation and terrain, an important highlight of the park is the Loktak lake (6, 475 ha.), the largest freshwater lake in India; a large portion of which falls within the park. The fauna in the park is also rare and unique.
